In order to make the BEST decision for our school we recognized that we needed to explore all technology options available in Instructional Technology. A Technology Committee was developed comprised of one faculty member from each department and guidance, the Assistant Principal for Curriculum, our Principal, and coordinated by our Technology office.


Through a four month process the following devices were considered: Laptops, Netbooks, Google Chrome Books, Kindles, Android Tablets, and iPads.

After several meetings and many hours of research and discussion it was decided that the Apple iPad was the device which most satisfied our focus statement: To select a device which enhanced the student/teacher experience.


Once the device was selected we entered Phase 2, which brought our department heads to the conversation and the curriculum discussion began .........
